Showing the milled out larger rear sight channel in the revolver on the left.
Notice how the rear sight of the revolver on the left has been widened on the milling machine to allow the shooter to pick up the sight picture quicker.

Photo showing a stock brass carrier on the right and a milled-out lighter version on the left.
You can see how much has been milled out of the brass lifter/carrier on the left. It basically helps reduce the amount of effort the shooter has to exert to cycle the rifle. These small modifications add up to a smoother functioning rifle.

Image showing the relative position of a short stroked rifle with a non-short stroked rifle.
This photo shows two identical Winchester 1873 rifles stacked on top of each other with their levers at the extended position. The lever with the leather wrapping has been modified to a "short stroke". It doesn't have to travel as far to get the job done and adds up over the course of a shoot.

Image showing three areas where Jimmy Spurs can help your Winchester 1897.
Notice three changes on the top Winchester 1897 shotgun. The barrel has been shortened to allow faster shooting through openings and windows. The tube has been polished for smoother cycling. And the butt has been shortened to allow easier loading while keeping the shotgun on the shoulder.

Screwknives and sheaths
Cowboy Gunworks is your Northeast Distributor for Redwing Knifes. Hand made in the USA, these knifes not only look good next to your holster but will help save the day when you nead a screwdriverr or knife in a hurry! They were originally designed to help clear a jam on a '73 Winchester in the event you get a double load or the extractor can't get a stuck round out of the chamber. These little knifes are a must for many Cowboy Action Shooting problems. Having a set of screwdrivers back in your cart doesn't really help you in the middle of your stage. You need it where you can reach in an instant.
