Welcome to the website of Jim McMahon aka Jimmy Spurs. I am a full-time gunsmith that specializes in working on Cowboy Action Shooting firearms. I can help make your lever action rifles (Henry 1860, Winchester 1866, Winchester 1873, Winchester 1892, Marlin 1894), revolvers (Ruger Vaquero, Ruger New Vaquero, Ruger Blackhawk, (New! I work on reproductions and originals. All my work is 100% satisfaction guaranteed. I do some general firearm repair. Machine shop services such as milling, lathe work, welding, etc. are available and done on the premises. You can also buy your firearms through me as I am a licensed FFL Dealer. Instead of buying your Ruger New Vaquero, Uberti, Taylor's & Co. Cimarron, EMF, etc. firearm somewhere else, let me know what you want and I will get it for you and work on it too! While somewhat new to Cowboy Action Shooting, I am no stranger to the workshop. I have been building and racing snowmobiles for a number of years and have many championships and several world records with our hand-built sleds. I've made pretty good progress in my three years of CAS shooting recently winning the 2007 SASS NH State Championship to add to the 2006 SASS NH State Championship, the 2005 SASS New Hampshire State Black Powder Modern Championship and Top Gun at the 2006 SASS NJ/DE State Championships.

'Cheyenne the Shop Cat' has joined the Walnut Hill Gang. Santa dropped her off on Christmas. She is a 10 week old 3 pound Maine Coon Cat on her way to about 15 lbs. Her ears are already 2.5" high and she loves to look at her pics on line!
